A handful of the worlds’ top sneaker stores team up with New Balance on the ML581 Global SMU Pack.
New Balance asked four stores around the world (24 Kilates, Bodega, Kasina & Mita Sneakers) to add their interpretation on the New Balance ML581. This New Balance model borrows design features from the 574 and possibly the 580, coming into its’ own with an outdoor friendly out-sole, guarded laces and weather proof style materials, making it an ideal shoe for winter.
The 24 Kilates model features a brown leather toe-box and ‘N’ logo, texturized rubber surrounding the toe-box, along with green suede side panels & contrast orange stitching and laces. The Bodega model (a bit more loud) comes in a vibrant blue and pink colourway, using only what could be described as a fleece type material along with a suede ‘N logo. The Kasina model has a more toned down look, with a herringbone toe-box and side panels, 3M reflective ‘N’ logo, and yellow laces. The most neutral model of them all comes from Mita Sneakers, with the use of creams,whites, and greys subtly finished with a gum sole.
The New Balance ML581 Global SMU Pack is due to be released both in-store an on mail order soon. Sizes on all models range from UK7 – UK11 (including half sizes), priced at £80.
