Converse release their latest (PRODUCT)RED shoe honoring World Aids Day (Dec 1st). They have joined forces with Brooklyn based artist Jose Parla, to collaborate on the Chuck Taylor Hi.
This co-lab sees Jose Parla’s ‘Ephemeral Pitches, and Notes, Rhythm and Phonetics’ piece digitally printed on to a canvas upper. This model features silver eyelets, while the red at the top of the shoe symbolizing that it’s a (PRODUCT)RED edition. An off white stripe sits on the heel with Jose Parla’s signature in white, off-white rubber toe cap with an off-white midsole. The converse tab that sits at the bottom of the heel on the back is in gum, as is the outer-sole which looks slightly distressed. The inner lining features more of Parla’s artwork and signature. All coming with a spare set of laces and shoe bag.
The Jose Parla x Converse (PRODUCT)RED Chuck Taylor Special Hi is due to be released both in-store and for mail order on 12th December 2011. Size ranges from UK7 – UK11 (including half sizes). £95
