After a two-year hiatus, Addict and long time collaborator C-Law bring back the sought after C-Law.02 camo outerwear.
The Addict x C-Law collaboration was last spotted back in ’09, thankfully both have rejoined forces to create a remixed version of C-Law’s classic .02 camouflage print.
Addict was born as a menswear label in 1996. Since then, they have developed a signature style of streetwear blending casual wear with the performance, quality and functionality of high-spec outerwear. With over a decade’s worth of heritage, its’ roots run deep in design, music and board sports.
Being a long-time contributor with the brand, collaborations between Addict & C-Law run back to 2005, where they have worked on numerous artist series prints and technical jacket projects over the years.
This return co-lab sees C-Law revisiting his original pattern, with a fully remixed version for 2011.
The design is loosely based around a basic desert camo because I really like the rock formations in that design. The shapes create boney finger claws that swell across the pattern which looks really dark, just the way I like it!
We have three pieces from the outerwear collection sitting alongside the Addict x C-Law Ahab shoe.
- The 1965 Parka jacket features a 100% Cotton canvas Moss Foam lining, with an outer cotton canvas fabric print pattern designed by C-Law. Other features include a detachable fur hood trim, large front fleece lined bellows pockets and the embossed leather ‘Union’ sleeve badge.
-The Mountain Guide jacket features a water resistant Moss Foam coating, diamond quilt lining, black woven label outer branding, inside pocket and adjustable hood and waist cord with leather sliders.
-The Frontline jacket features the C-Law.02 print with a shearling polyester fleece lined hood, hand warmer fleece lined pockets, shock cord hem with side adjusters, inside pocket and diamond quilt lining.
-The Ahab shoe, a nautical twisted Vulc Mid. This wax canvas shoe features a C-Law.02 print upper, leather laces, gum outsole, metal eyelets, padded tongue with an embossed leather tongue pull tab with orange accents.
The Addict x C-Law collection is due to be released both in-store and for mail order on Saturday 9th December.
