Converse introduces the Sak Dr. J Pro Leather. This all new limited edition collaboration with Sak founder Ryusaku Hiruma puts a new spin on hand-crafted footwear.
Japanese born Hiruma has perfected his style, becoming a master of age-old Italian footwear craftsmanship. Hiruma approaches the Pro Leather model with unmistakable skill and artistry. This conceptual version of Dr. Julius Erving’s Pro Leather features rich Italian leather hand stiched from the upper rand to the insole. The leather soles are highly detailed much like ones seen on dress shoes. With ink-printed logos, detailed hand-stiching and leather laces, this Pro Leather sets a high standard in quality. The Sak for Converse Dr. J Pro Leather comes wrapped in a paper parcel (tied with a shoe lace), with official Sak stamps.
This Pro Leather model comes as an extremely limited run, with only 24 pairs made worldwide, with Foot Patrol being the exclusive UK stockist. The Sak for Converse Dr. J Pro Leather is priced at £400. Size ranges from UK7 – UK11.
