After re-releasing the original colourway of the limited Dr. J Pro Leather, Converse are back again with another ‘premium’ model, the Dr. J Pro Leather ‘Horween’.
For this version of the Dr. J Pro Leather, Converse material of choice is Horween leather. The Horeween Leather Company is one of the oldest running tanneries in America. Located in Chicago, the Horween Leather Company is mostly know for its production of Shell Cordovan & Chromexcel, with Wilson Sporting Goods being one of their largest clients.
The shoe consists mainly of a black leather upper, with the Dr. J logo placed on the outer side-panels. The back heel tab and inner lining in burgundy leather adds an overall contrast to the shoe. Also featuring a white cross stitch detail under the heel tab.
Again, this model is available in limited quantities, (400 pairs worldwide). The Dr. J Pro Leather ‘Horween’ are available at Foot Patrol tomorrow! £70, size 7-11
