This year marks the 125th anniversary of Arsenal F.C. To celebrate the football clubs’ legacy, Nike Sportswear have created a special NSW Destroyer Jacket.
Being the most premium product from the collection, the detail on the jacket is very well executed. The front of the jacket sees the letter ‘A’ applique in felt and leather, which was used on the club crest from 1949 – 2002, alongside the latin motto ‘Victoria Concordia Crescit’ – Victory Comes From Harmony, which sits embroidered in black on the right sleeve. On the left sleeve, is the homage to the series of crests once used in the past, including the 1952 FA Cup Final Monogram badge.
With a limited run of 125 made, only 60 jackets have been made available to the public. The Arsenal 125th Anniversary NSW Destroyer Jacket is available in-store at Foot Patrol from Saturday 30th July 2011, priced at £350.
