In this on-going collaboration with Vans and Taka Hayashi, we have seen many reworks of various popular Vans models. Vans give Taka Hayashi the opportunity to tackle the Derby LX.
This model draws a huge influence from the classic brogue shoe. To set it apart from it’s originator, Taka Hayashi has applied a crepe sole which makes the shoe more appealing. The toe-box detail is where this shoe shines, taking inspiration from Native American art (where many of his other models have drawn inspiration from), the Derby LX has full leather lining, a soft suede upper in either Taupe or Black & triangle perforations with a twin stitch detail going down the middle of the toe-box. Finished off with a Honey Brown midsole along with the contrast stitch detail. The Derby LX comes with a spare set of laces and a cotton carry bag.
