After their successful collaboration last year, Italian fashion house Missoni & Converse’s First String line are back this Spring with two more versions of the Chuck Taylor Special Hi.
Using their famous ‘Space Dye’ print, Missoni have applied it to the Chuck Taylor, which is available in two versions (one unisex, and a womens’ colourway). The unisex model features the space dye print, mainly using a primary colour palette, with a white outsole and a leather toe-box, replacing what would usually be rubber. The womens model features a more contrasting palette, with green ‘space dye’ print on the outer side panel, purple print on the inner side panel, and a black and white print tongue. Italian leather is also used on the heel pull-tab, the Converse logo sitting on the inner panel, around the ankle on the inner lining and the tongue where the stamped Missoni logo lays. Both colourways come with alternate laces.
The Converse x Missoni CT Spec Hi is available now in-store and for mail order. The unisex model, sizes UK4 – UK11 (including half sizes). The womens model, sizes UK3 – UK7 (including half sizes), both retailing at £209.99
