As part of his final collaboration with Adidas, Japanese designer Kuzuki Kuraishi has teamed up with musician Ian Brown to create the ‘ZX Ian’.
This shoe could be easily mistaken for the ZXZ. The only difference may be the name of both models. There are three materials that feature heavily on the model: premium leather, mesh and suede. Premium leather has been applied to the three stripe panels, on the heel and surrounding the toe-box area. The black mesh sits on the side panels of the shoe and toe-box, making it an all round breathable shoe. Finally, a deep charcoal suede sits on the cup of the heel, not forgetting the classic ‘lattice’ detail on the midsole. You’ll find a gold silhouette of Ian Brown’s face on the tongue and the musicians name emblazoned on the outer side panel. Additional extras include pull-tabs on the tongue and heel and black 3M reflective material on the toe-box.
