As part of the Nike Sportswear ‘Be True To Your Street’ collection, Nike add the Dunk Low to their current ‘vintage’ series.
Once rumoured as an ‘Asia’ only release, Nike bring forward the Dunk Low to their on-going vintage series. The colourways we see here had been previously done back 1999 as Japanese only releases, so in fact these could be considered as the ‘retro’ release. As with all of Nikes vintage shoes, we can expect frayed stitching, slightly faded outsoles, aged midsoles & paint strokes on the upper to give the shoe an overall ‘weathered’ look. Thankfully the shoe has kept it’s shape, and not changed too drastically. The Dunk Low is available in four different flavours: Varsity Red/Neutral Grey, Curry/White, Varsity Red/Dark Obsidian & Varsity Maize/Dark Obsidian, each coming with an alternate lace flip.
