NB580 Gore-tex – Japanese exclusive

We have just taken delivery of these two beauties… Inspired by armed forces flight jackets, these water-repellent GORE-TEX sneakers present a suitable option when the conditions are less than ideal…

Continuing on from last-year’s Gore-Tex gradient experiment, New Balance have released another couple of MTG580′s laden with the uber-durable material. The first inspired by an MA-1 flight jacket. It’s upper is a combination of rip-stop nylon and leather with a GORE-TEX membrane. In addition, the sneaker includes a removable Velcro logo to allow you to swap out different colours of the side ‘N’ logo, whether it be a tonal olive version the vibrant orange version.

This second B-3 jacket inspired design completes the pack. Unlike the clean materials of the MA-1 design, the following B-3 sneaker featuers a distressed leather upper with a more subdued aesthetic. This MTG580 also features a subtle nod to famous woolen jacket lining or collars, and features a woolen lining on the inside of the tongue.

These are a European exclusive for us! Get them before they’re gone…
